Neuroserve's IM Powered
Training is an assessment and treatment program
developed to enhance brain performance and recovery.
Supported by the most current, evidence-based
neuroscientific principles, IM Neurological and Motor
Rehabilitation focuses on the brain’s inherent ability
to repair itself through a process referred to as
neuroplasticity. This is accomplished by using
innovative neurosensory and neuromotor exercises.
IM Powered Training
works by addressing brain timing, rhythmicity, and
synchronicity thereby increasing the speed and
coordination of informational signals within the brain.
It is a method of enabling brain-injured or
neurologically challenged individuals to directly
improve the processing abilities that affect attention,
motor planning, and sequencing. This in turn,
strengthens many fundamental learning capacities and
higher level cognitive skills such as planning,
organizing, and language.
While early research
focused on improvements in pediatric individuals diagnosed
with ADD/ADHD, SI, and Autism Spectrum disorders, IM is
also being used successfully to treat adults and
children with various impairments of planning, sequencing,
speech, cognition, balance, endurance, motor
coordination and learning disabilities
Today, occupational
therapists, speech language pathologists, and physical
therapists are enhancing traditional approaches to
rehabilitation with IM technology and achieving
measurably improved outcomes. IM Neuromotor
Rehabilitation has been shown to improve:
The RTD recognizes that
in order to achieve optimal outcome and maximum
recovery, IM rehabilitation technology should be
utilized along with other modalities as an integral part
of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program like those
