How
do I sign up?
Sign up sheets for Group Training Programs are provided
at the main office of your campus. Contact our office
directly to arrange for individual customized training.
How often are training sessions held?
Training sessions are held at least 2 times per week
continuously for the duration of the training program to
maximize effectiveness. Training programs typically
require 12 – 16 sessions with the initial session
dedicated to testing and evaluation for tailoring a
customized program. Follow up sessions to the program
may be recommended depending on the goals, experience
and needs of each individual.
How quickly will I experience results?
Although the experience and rate of improvement varies
with each individual, the brain begins to develop and
respond with each session throughout the training
program. The training is designed to build on each prior
session and has a cumulative effect. The benefits
experienced from the training often become noticeable by
the midpoint of the program and continue to build. The
brain continues to utilize, reinforce and refine its new
processing capability and results typically increase
over time well beyond the completion of the training
program.
Do the effects of the training diminish over time?
IM
powered training takes advantage of the natural
plasticity of the brain to promote development of new
pathways and help the brain to process signals more
efficiently. As the brain utilizes these new pathways in
everyday life the effect of the training is reinforced
and refined, rather than diminished, over time.
What does it cost to complete the training?
Each IM powered training program is customized for the
needs, condition, goals and experience of the
individual. Our rates often vary with the length,
complexity and specialized nature and demands of the
desired program. Discounted rates are offered for Group
Training programs. Payments for the sessions are
typically billed in advance for each block of 4-5
sessions. Prepayment discounts are available for
payment in full of all sessions after the initial
testing and evaluation session or at the first Group
Training session as applicable. Please contact one of
our clinicians directly to discuss rates and payment
plans for your particular type of program.
Will my insurance cover any of the costs?
Many of our customers performing individual training for
rehabilitative purposes qualify for insurance
reimbursement. An appropriately coded invoice will be
provided to assist you if you wish to pursue
reimbursement from your insurance company. We are not
part of any insurance program or network. Your
insurance company will typically need a referral
letter/prescription for Occupational Therapy from the
referring physician and a DSM-IV or ICD-9 diagnosis and
code number designated by the physician.
